Community Service

We’re excited to share some of the programs that we serve and support, as well as a few others that are worthy of spreading the word about.

What is Moving With Purpose?

Cycling Without Age

We are proud to be a Cycling Without Age chapter, just 1 of more than 2,000 chapters in over 40 countries. Our mission is to spread the joy of the outdoors through cycling to those who are not able to ride bike unassisted.

Cycling Without Age is based on generosity and kindness. It starts with the obvious generous act of taking one or two elderly or less-abled people out on a bike ride. It’s a simple act that everyone can do. Contact us if you’re interested in supporting this service.

HEART Ministry

HEART is a ministry of Hosanna Church that demonstrates God’s love by serving communities in need.  From providing every day essentials for families, to restoring homes from hurricane damage on a global scale, this outreach impacts thousands annually.

The volunteers at LCA are responsible for working with the city to provide one of the best off-road mountain bike trails in the metro. LCA volunteers work tirelessly around the year and take community very seriously. You could say they’re always Moving with Purpose!

Because of the efforts of LCA and it’s supporting partners, the residents of their community have access to outstanding off-road trails as do local youth organizations such as Little Bellas, local middle & highschool mountain bike teams including Lakeville North & South teams, Burnsville, Prior Lake & New Prague teams. This outstanding group of leaders make it easy for anyone to volunteer and be part of something great!

We like our planet! We also like spending time outside, you should join us! Connect to see when our next outting is scheduled.

The Minnesota High School Cycling League, founded in 2012, is a state-wide independent activity provider for student-athletes in 6th to 12th grade. Their mission is to build strong minds, bodies, character and communites through cycling, regardless of ability level. There are more than 60 teams state-wide and nearly 2,000 student athletes.

TC Food Justice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis. Since March 2016 they have been working with co-ops, grocery stores, and farmers markets to re-distribute their unsalable foods to local hunger relief organizations. They focus on vegetables, fruits, and nutrient rich breads because hunger relief organizations often find it challenging to consistently provide fresh food options for their clients. They seek to improve food insecure individuals’ access to fresh, nutritious food.

Dakota County offers a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups wishing to share their talents and time volunteering in Dakota County. They offer a robust program that gives people the chance to share their skills, expertise, and passion to enhance the quality and variety of services offered to local residents.  You will see the Moving With Purpose van delivering library items to homebound seniors, cleaning up garbage in road side ditches and heading up recycling efforts.
